There was a lot of food and only one server for the entire restaurant. He told us someone was scheduled but hadn't shown up. The only down part was the fried ice cream. The shell tasted stale. We look forward to trying the buffet, next time.

We have tried all the Mexican restaurants in Madison County and El Mejor is, by far, our favorite! It's located at the Old Richmond Mall (exterior entrance). They have a lunch-time buffet that is great. The service and friendliness is the best of any restaurant that we have ever been to. If you are looking for a restaurant that is a little quieter than others, great food, awesome prices, then El Mejor is the place to go!

This is the second one away from mi pueblo 2 between these two Mexican restaurants they are the only ones I would recommend! The steak burrito was charred to perfection, The seasoning on that steak bouncing on my tongue baebey....mmm I'm just happy to find another Mexican restaurant that doesn't just only serve the Caucasian's in the community, but the people that actually like the restaurant's food to actually have good flavor. I like to taste the seasoning in my food. I highly recommend this establishment. It's chef's kiss

Wow, what a great place. 1st off, the chips are fresh and hot and amazing. It was a great start. Now the food was even better. Burrito Loco and chicken faitias were soo delicious and the bot plate is really hot! Watch out to not get burned, but this Mexican food was really good. Try it!

Best Mexican food in Richmond, KY. Oso makes the best Margaritas and you won't find better service so ask for Oso (Jose).

I loved the fact that they played Mexican music! I love the original feeling of feeling like we walked into Mexico not many restaurants are so authentic but this 1 is! Thanks for the great experience! I loved it! Food is good, service is good, they actually check on you! I was impressed. We will definitely be back for the buffet next time! We didn't make it in time but that's okay, gives us something to look forward to next time! Thanks!

Love all the workers and the owner are the best!! Their food is absolutely amazing and fresh!! My husband and I go here regularly and can’t wait to go back again this evening! Our waiter Jose is just like a family member who has always respected us and he even prayed with me for my husband when he was going through his cancer treatments and surgeries. I really care a lot for this place and I can’t say enough good things about them really
